Sister George Heritage Lodge was built in 1910 and has been through many changes since then. She is now thrilled to receive guests. There are two bedrooms with queen sized beds, bathroom with giraffe, living room with piano, guitar and games and a shady veranda with seating. It is totally private, but worth noting that I live on site with two big poodles. Coming over for breakfast will probably mean meeting them. There is no kitchen in the Lodge, just coffee and tea. However I do make a Swedish style breakfast for you.
Prices are the best with direct booking, but you are of course welcome to book via Airbnb if you wish.
Two night minimum, 250 per night midweek, 4 guests. Weekends 350 per night. Special offers for longer stays.
Some necessary rules: Best suited for school aged children and up, no smoking, no parties, quiet time after 11. Keep the neighbours happy and don’t have loud music outdoors. Must be able to climb stairs. There might be encounters with dogs, but they are adorable and non allergenic.
